Established engineering discipline. Hands-on agent work.

Alastair Fraser is an experienced electrical engineer and Staff-level technical leader who applies engineering discipline to AI agents and emerging automation systems. His background includes complex-system architecture, circuit and board design, avionics, RF and microwave systems, satellite communications, requirements development, trade studies, testing, troubleshooting, and team leadership.

Outside his primary engineering career, he uses AI agents to build software, operate online stores, research markets, create content, test products, develop websites, and automate practical business workflows. He is the author of The Agent Advantage, a candid guide to using agents as leverage while retaining human judgment, verification, permission boundaries, spend controls, and operational guardrails.
