Information you provide
If a contact service is configured, the site will process the name, email, organization, reason, and message you submit so Alastair can respond. The current preview does not transmit form data.
Analytics
Invasive tracking is not enabled by default. A future deployment may use privacy-conscious aggregate analytics to understand page visits and outbound book clicks. Configuration belongs in environment variables.
Amazon and external sites
Book links open Amazon using an affiliate URL. As an Amazon Associate, Alastair may earn from qualifying purchases. External sites have their own privacy practices.
Data retention and requests
Contact data should be retained only as long as needed for the conversation and legitimate recordkeeping. Use the contact page for access or deletion requests after a public endpoint is configured.
Résumé privacy
The public résumé omits the source document’s phone number, personal email, and security-clearance detail. It does not publish confidential or export-controlled work.
